Pineapple Ham Panini

INGREDIENTS

3oz. Piller's sliced Black Forest ham 85g
3oz. Canned pineapple slices (cut into pieces) 2 slices 85g
2oz. Bottled sweet and sour sauce 60ml
1 Tbsp. Honey mustard 15ml
1 Panini Roll 1

 

METHOD

  1. Saute pineapple in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add sweet and sour sauce and simmer for 1 minute longer until mixture thickens.
  3. Cool and set aside.
  4. Cut panini roll in half lengthwise.
  5. Spread honey mustard on bottom half then top with slices of ham and the pineapple mixture.
  6. Cover with other half of panini roll and grill on panini press until warmed through.

THIS MAKES A HEARTY LUNCH SANDWICH THE KIDS WILL ENJOY!
